Navigate to faithed.app in Safari browser. Note: The installation feature only works in Safari on iOS, not in Chrome or other browsers.
Look for the share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of your screen (iPhone) or top of your screen (iPad).
Scroll down in the share menu and tap "Add to Home Screen". You may need to scroll to find this option.
You can edit the app name if desired, then tap "Add" in the top right corner. The faithed icon will appear on your home screen.
Tap the faithed icon on your home screen. The app will open in full-screen mode, just like a native app!
Navigate to faithed.app in Google Chrome. Chrome will automatically detect that faithed is installable.
A banner will appear at the bottom of your screen saying "Add faithed to Home screen" or you'll see an install icon in the address bar.
Tap the installation prompt or the install icon in the address bar (three dots menu → "Install app").
A dialog will appear asking you to confirm. Tap "Install" to add faithed to your home screen and app drawer.
Find the faithed icon in your app drawer or home screen. Tap to open. The app will launch in standalone mode without browser UI!
Navigate to faithed.app in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Brave browser. These browsers support PWA installation on desktop.
You'll see an install icon (⊕ or computer icon) in the address bar on the right side, next to the star/bookmark icon.
Click the install icon and then click "Install" in the confirmation dialog that appears.
faithed will open in its own window, separate from your browser. It will look and feel like a native desktop application.

faithed is a Progressive Web App (PWA). It's installed like a website but works like a native app with offline support, push notifications, and a full-screen experience. You get all the benefits of an app without using app store downloads.
The initial installation is very small (under 5MB). As you use the app, it will cache your content for offline access, typically using 20-50MB depending on your usage.

Yes! Unlike traditional apps, faithed updates automatically in the background. You'll always have the latest features without needing to manually update from an app store.
iOS: Long-press the faithed icon and select "Remove App"
Android: Long-press the icon and drag to "Uninstall" or go to Settings → Apps
Desktop: Right-click the app window and select "Uninstall faithed" or remove from Apps settings in your browser
No! Once installed, faithed maintains its own login session separate from your browser. You can close your browser and the app will stay logged in.
